Nice and Easy Knit Dress

Pattern Review: NewLook N6618

I love this dress style the tie on the front assists in disguising my horrible tummy.

This is my brief pattern review for NewLook N6618 and I chose view C but put the sleeves from view A on it. The fabric is from my stash, a Bamboo Jersey. The fabric feels so light and comfortable.

To be honest, the colours in this dress version are not my normal go-to but given the dress was so easy to make I will easily make it again in a different colour or pattern and hopefully in a bamboo jersey if I can find it.

I love the bias finish on the neckline, so much tidier than just twin needling and also ensures the neckline doesn’t stretch.

The style could be made up (or worn) for a more formal/dressy occasion not just as a casual dress.

The pattern is a good option for advanced beginners upwards. It is very easy to follow and definitely a super fast one to complete.
